ABSTRACT
The article discusses issues related to the impact of personal profile online postings on the professional prospects of candidates. Instances wherein employees were dismissed from their jobs or disqualified from their application for positions are discussed. Stephen Bradford Executive Search co-founder and president Erika Weinstein says that users must assume that all their Internet postings and blogs will be viewed by employers. Journalist Sarah Needleman offers suggestions for job applicants and candidates on how to manage their online profiles.
