The article presents information about former Irish President Mary Robinson. Robinson, 60, jumped onto the world stage as President of Ireland. In 1997, she became United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights. She started out as a human-rights lawyer in Ireland. As head of the group Ethical Globalization Initiative in New York, she is trying to emphasize that long-lasting security in the age of terrorism will come from spreading global justice.
