The article informs that Mark Ginsberg of the U.S. Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy has been given the first-ever alliance to Save Energy lifetime achievement award. This award highlights Ginsberg's contribution to energy efficiency during his whole career. Ginsberg has also served as the state energy director and director of the federal energy management program.
