ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the significance of podcasting, which puts the responsibility of learning onto the employees. According to sources, this iPod-driven phenomenon known as podcasting is essential to the field organization of EMC Corp., which is part of a growing global legion of forward-thinking professionals who are seizing the opportunity to learn such technology. While podcasting does not require an iPod, nor is it broadcast in real time, where learners can listen to or watch a podcast from their computers, BlackBerrys, iPods, smart phones or any other devices. Thus, the computer storage company based in Massachusetts, EMC, has made podcasting a mainstay of its sales communication and training missions.
