ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Sheth Medal for Exceptional Leadership was given to Sam Palmisano, chairman and chief executive officer of IBM, in 2007. The medal was named after Jag Sheth, a marketing leader who supports many causes in the field including the American Marketing Association's Marketing Foundation. Palmisano, who works so hard that he has traveled around the world three times in 2007 alone, believes that it is necessary to support global cooperation, as the best ideas can come from anywhere in the world.
