ABSTRACT
The article reports that the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) is seeking to revise portion of the Bankruptcy Act in Australia. In a petition submitted before the Senate Legal and Constitutional Affairs Committee, ASFA proposed to Australian legislators to change the Acts to ensure that superannuation funds are not getting involved in unnecessary transactions.
