ABSTRACT
The article highlights the "Geothermal Energy Report." It mentions that the geothermal heat pump also known as the Ground-Source Heat Pump or generically as geoexchange is the fastest growing geothermal application today. The three basic technologies for generating electricity from geothermal energy are dry steam power plants, flash steam plants and binary geothermal power generation plants. It also notes the geothermal industry in the U.S. and the Philippines.
