ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the life of Yasser Obaid Hussein, security chief for "Time" magazine's Baghdad bureau, since the start of the Iraq war in 2003. Hussein's initial hopes for a better future and the 2003 birth of twin daughters are presented. The dangers working for Americans brought to him and his family are described. His decision to move his family to Amman, Jordan despite his wife being forced to leave two children from a previous marriage behind is given.
