ABSTRACT
The article focuses on universal design, a term which refers to the design of products and environments to be usable by all people without the need for adaptation or specialized design, being incorporated into the curriculum to make education accessible to students with disabilities in the U.S. Principles that should be followed in order for universal design to be effective are stated, including demographics. It also notes prerequisites of learning that curricular design should incorporate.
