ABSTRACT
The article discusses how GLBT youth may be positively effected by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick deciding that the state's Department of Public Health will not apply for a federal abstinence-only education grant for the 2008 fiscal year. According to the article advocates against abstinence-only education believe that a more comprehensive sex education can now be taught in schools with the elimination of the program.
