ABSTRACT
The article reports on the construction of a multi-megawatt solar photovoltaic system at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. It is the largest photovoltaic system to be installed in North America, with the collaborative efforts of U.S. Air Force, Nevada Power Co., and MMA Renewable Ventures. CEO Walter Higgins of Sierra Pacific Resources Co. states that the state has abundance of sunshine to be developed into a renewable energy resources.
