The article focuses on the significance of hydraulic starting system in remote or potentially hazardous locations. This system has been used by marine, oil and gas, power generation, and mining industries as primary and/or auxiliary emergency starting systems. Among its major advantages include cranking engines faster at a higher torque, and start the engine quickly. It was found out that torque's availability is particularly effective in cold weather.
