ABSTRACT
The article discusses the company No Lie MRI, run by Joel Huizenga. The company uses magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) brain scans to determine whether a subject is telling the truth. An overview of the history of polygraphs and similar technologies for the uncovering of deception is presented. While polygraphs have been found to be insufficiently reliable, it is hoped that MRI methods will be far more accurate.
