ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the efforts of Democrats to repeal a law that threaten the legitimate rights of law-abiding gun owners in the U.S. It is stressed that the House of Representatives is about to vote for the renewal of Tiahrt amendment, named after Representative Todd Tiahrt, and considered as the leading gun zealot in Congress. It is stated that the renewal will mean that the collected information about the history of guns used in crimes cannot be shared with local police departments.
