ABSTRACT
The article presents a survey on the use of Internet of school districts in the U.S. It has been reported that 96% of teachers assign homework that requires Internet use. On the other hand, 35% said that at least, half their teachers assign homework that requires Internet use. Ninety-five percent said that at least some of their teachers are using Web pages to communicate assignments, curriculum content and other information. Eighty-eight percent subscribe to online educational services or learning management systems. Lastly, 87% of the subscribing districts allow students to access the services from home.
