ABSTRACT
The article reports on the move of Risk Management Solutions (RMS) to launch new catastrophe risk models for the emerging Asian market. RMS is offering the RMS China Earthquake Model, RMS India Earthquake Model, and RMS Japan, Taiwan and China Earthquake Casualty models to support insurers and to help diversify risks in this type of market. According to Jason Futers, vice president at RMS, the new market models enable risk managers to make underwriting decision using the same platform.
