The article provides information on some of the new economic development projects underway in Lima, Peru. It is reported that Port of Callao, which is Peru's biggest and most important port, will soon get even bigger; the Jose Chavez International Airport is in for US$1.4 billion worth infrastructure improvements; work on the US$3.8 billion Liquefied Natural Gas Project has commenced; and work on the US$210 million El Platanal Hydroelectric Project is slated to begin this year 2007.
