ABSTRACT
The article offers news briefs that concern the World Health Organization (WHO). The WHO convened a conference in Damascus with the governments to ensure health care is provided to displaced Iraqis living in neighboring countries. It has expanded its clinical trial registry platform to include trial registers from China and India. Together with the Food and Agriculture Organization of United Nations, it has urged all countries to strengthen their food safety systems.
