The article focuses on a report by Hay Group of Great Britain which indicated that FTSE 100 directors may have earned a combined salary of more than 500 million pounds in 2006, that the executives each earned approximately 1.2 million pounds on average, and that most of the executives earned approximately half of professional soccer players in Great Britain.
