ABSTRACT
The article describes a technology that has been created to sidestep red tape surrounding the embryonic stem cell research issue. Scientists are now creating cybrids, which combine animal genes and cells with human embryos. This can create the same conditions as a purely human combination so that researchers can study diseases and possible cures.
