The article reports on the appeal of Samson Holding Ltd. to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) for controlling the stake in Furniture Brands from their 14.9 % industry share in St. Louis, Missouri. The Samson group takes alternative actions such as pursuing board representations to acquire such control.
