The article offers information on the initiative implemented by Joe and Beverly Guasti in developing wind power as an alternative source of energy. This development was underscored by Joe during his presentation at the Small Wind Conference which was held in Oak Hills, San Bernardino County, California. This presentation focused on Joe's years of experience as an installer of Bergey Windpower's 10-kW Excel wind turbines. Joe mentioned that his success was influenced by California's renewable energy incentives, the availability of net metering for renewable energy systems, and high electric utility rates.
