ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the National Association of Television Program Executives' Brandon Tartikoff Legacy Awards. Brandon Tartikoff became the entertainment president of NBC in 1981 at age 31. She helped revived the operations of the television network with the success of television programs such as "Cheers" and "The Cosby Show." Tartikoff died in 1997 from Hodgkin's disease. The article lists the past recipients of the awards. It also presents the recipients of the awards for 2008.
