ABSTRACT
The article discusses the importance of board composition in corporate governance. The Board of directors should be composed of individuals with varying educational and leadership backgrounds, experiences and perspectives, as well as high competence. Further, a good board composition is considered as the foundation in establishing an effective and stable corporate governance.
