BISD trustees give Field Turf project the go-ahead

The article reports on the actions taken by the Board of Trustees of the Breckenridge Independent School District (BISD) in Texas in December 2007. The board approved to proceed with the Field Turf Project for the Buckaroo Stadium with the help of some private donations and the Breckenridge Economic Development Corp. The board also approved to hold a joint election with the city of Breckenridge in May 2008. Other matters approved by the board concern an out-of-state trip for the Breckenridge High School band and an updated sex education curriculum.
