ABSTRACT
To study the chemical consititue of volatile oil from Limonium aureum(L.) Hill, the volatile oil was extracted from Limonium aureum(L.) Hill by steam distillation and the chemical constituents were analyzed with the optimum separating and analyzing conditions by GC-MS, then the percentage content of composition of volatile were determined by peak area normalization method. Furtherly, 137 peaks were detected and 70 components were separated and identified which accounted for 82.12% of total volatile oil. The main constituents of the oil were ethanol,2-nitro-(59.63%), tetracosane(3.71%), diphenylamine (2.31%), 2-pentadecanone, 6, 10, 14-trimethyl-(1.79%), heneicosane (1.57%), propylene glycol(1.4%).
