ABSTRACT
This article reports on the 7 millionth skills card issued by the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) Foundation. The card recognizes that the holder is competent in seven core information technology skills, including word processing, spreadsheet handling and file management. According to ECDL Foundation Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Damien O'Sullivan, this just shows that they set the global benchmark in end-user skills programs.
