ABSTRACT
The article reflects on various geological evidences suggesting the possible effects of global warming to our planet, as of May 2008. The section highlights various comments given by scholars studying the changes in earth's temperature. Geological evidence illustrates that the planet has repeatedly been far warmer compared to it is today. Studies revealed that the fact that past temperature shifts happened with significant die-offs and entire species being wiped out. It also states that human impacts on our environment have already put enormous stress on the natural habitats of various wild species, thus modest temperature changes also could prove deadly effects on our environment. INSET: Global Impact of Temperature Rises.
