ABSTRACT
This paper presents the dynamics modeling and parameters identification of a motorcycle simulator's platform. This model begins with some suppositions which consider that the leg dynamics can be neglected with respect to the mobile platform one. The objective is to synthesis a simplified control scheme, adapted to driving simulation application, minimizing delays and without loss of tracking performance. Electronic system of platform actuation is described. It's based on a CAN BUS communication which offers a large transmission robustness and error handling. Despite some disadvantages, we adapted a control solution which overcome these inconvenient and preserve the quality of tracking trajectory. A brief description of the simulator's platform is given and results are shown and justified according to our specifications.
