ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the issues concerning ways to confront global crises. The global economic condition has greatly affected countries such as Tajikistan and its neighboring countries in Asia. With the rising prices of goods, the United Nations together with the Food and Agriculture Organization held a special summit in Rome to address food shortages and the funding of mostly affected countries. Moreover, insights on how food shortages are affecting Central Asian countries are provided.
