A six-man team of supporters from Cancer Research UK are walking 370 kilometers across Ireland to raise £10,000 for the charity. Funds raised by cyclist couple Jaqui and Trevor Alland will be shared by Macmillian Cancer Support and the facial disfigurement charity Let's Face It. The mental health charity YoungMinds has asked its supporters to individually raise £250 or more through the London's Royal Parks half-marathon on October 12, 2008.
