ABSTRACT
The article reports on the importance of energy planning to various companies in the U.S. Due to the rising energy costs, various business establishment are looking for ways to conserve energy. Energy consciousness and awareness have heightened dramatically due to the price escalation in several sectors of the economy. It is forecasted that there would be an increase in energy consumption by more than 50% by 2025, thus there is an urgent need to enhance energy supply, improve energy efficiency and modernize energy infrastructure.
