ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the homeowner bailout bonds proposed by WolfBlock LLP's partner Jeffrey Blumenfeld to ease the U.S. market financial crisis. Blumenfeld's proposal authorizes state housing agencies to sell the bonds and use the proceeds to purchase troubled subprime mortgages. It is considered as a better alternative than Treasury's proposal since state agencies have the necessary staff and expertise to administer such program.
