ABSTRACT
The article reports an economic rescue package planned by a special task force for financial services in Yorkshire, England. Tom Riordan, the chief executive of regional development agency Yorkshire Forward, helped recruit members for the tasks force which include banking and finance executives. It explains that the area was affected the nationalisation of Bradford & Bingley and the planned merger of HBOS.
