ABSTRACT
The article discusses the offset schemes in the tourism industry in Great Britain. Dick Sisman, Tourism Industry Carbon Offset Service, said there are 88 carbon offsetting companies in offering 30 different calculations for the same flight. He explained that tour operators need to understand the costs of climate change as well as the potential consequences it will have on their businesses.
