ABSTRACT
The article reports on the inauguration of the construction work of Haiyang nuclear power plant in Shandong Sheng, China. The nuclear plant, which will generate 2,200 megawatts (MW), has started a month ahead of schedule and will be operational in 2014. Shandong Nuclear Power, Westinghouse Electric and Shaw Group are all working in the facility.
