ABSTRACT
The article elaborates on the impact of funding delays to the poorest communities in Belfast, Northern Ireland. The Neighbourhood Renewal programme warned that the delay could result to the deprivation of the poor communities of its key services. According to the Northern Ireland Council for Voluntary Action (Nicva), approximately 150 voluntary and community organisations are affected by the delay caused by a review of applications for Neighborhood Renewal funding from organisations in the city.
