ABSTRACT
The article discusses the use of search engine optimization (SEO) to attract the right visitors to a web site. The customer may assert unrealistic expectations by typing in unfocused terms. It is stated that SEO helps them to define clearly the purpose of the web site. SEOs have the option of using advanced operators to get useful information from Google Inc.'s search engine. To learn the process of SEO, it is important to understand the working of search engines that use programs known as crawlers, spiders or robots that follow links on a web page to discover other pages on a given web site and then on other web sites linked to it. Also mentioned are the use of indexing and ranking for SEO.
