ABSTRACT
The article discusses the association between global diversity in the workforce and leadership. It states that global diversity in the workforce is an economic issue that provides a competitive edge in corporate success. It talks about the importance of understanding the competition in the issue of global diversity, and cites the role of technology in integrating systems, communication, transportation and cultures. It offers information on cultural exchange. It explains the association between employee retention and employee recruitment. It has been noted that there is a direct correlation between diversity and profitability.
