The article offers a look at the solidarity of individuals from North America and Europe with Palestinians in their nonviolent resistance against Israeli occupation. The author used the electronic archives of the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) in an attempt to analyze the way activists' subject positions are discursively formulated, together with the Palestinians. She seeks to examines the practice of travel and direct action in Palestine and the discourse arising from it. She also explores the impact on dissident American Jews of participating in this political engagement.
