ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the policy restricting immigration or the Johnson Bill in the U.S. It states that the Johnson Bill preserves the immigration law of 1917, maintains the principle of numerical limitations as instituted in the Act of May 19, 1921, alters the quota base from the census of 1910 to the census of 1890, and minimizes the percentage of immigration from three to two.
