ABSTRACT
The article examines the contracts for license to use electronic periodicals in Italy. Confidentially clause or non-disclosure clause are among the critical points of the contracts. A clause prohibits libraries to exchange with others information on the price, use and other terms or conditions. Those who preferred for commercial model are faced with the problem of managing the maintenance of paper subscriptions with a minimum margin of rejections.
