The article discusses the author's views in building the future of the American people with reliable, affordable, and environmentally-friendly electric power supply. It tells that expansion and upgrading of electric infrastructures to meet the needs of businesses and families will require massive investments in energy efficiency programs, power generation, transmissions, and power distribution. It adds that advanced nuclear energy plants will also be needed to generate electricity in the U.S.
