ABSTRACT
The article focuses on the impact and significance of energy conservation to health care. It notes that the use of renewable energy sources saves money and reduces emissions. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) found that every dollar a non-profit health care organization saves on energy is equivalent to generating $20 in new revenue for hospitals. It was found out that demands for energy and the cost for its provision are increasing rapidly.
