ABSTRACT
This section presents a chronology of several historical war events. From July 1 to 3, 1863, the Army of the Potomac repels the invading Army of Northern Virginia in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. On July 1, 1898, Lieutenant Colonel Theodore Roosevelt leads the 1st U.S. Volunteer Cavalry "Rough Riders" up Kettle Hill, Cuba. On July 6, 1917, Arabs under T. E. Lawrence capture Aqaba.
