ABSTRACT
The article reports on the announcement on the launch of Dubai Cotton Centre, trading arm and fully owned subsidiary of Dubai Multi Commodities Centre Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCCDMCC) in United Arab Emirates. Dubai Cotton Centre will consolidate Dubai's position as a link in the global cotton supply chain between Central Asia and Asian market. The announcement was made during DMCCDMCC's participation at the International Uzbek CottonFair 2008 in October in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
