Classifying the strengths of three-body forces 3BFs with the condition that observables must be cut-off independent, i.e., renormalized at each order, leads to surprising results with relevance for example for thermal neutron capture on the deuteron. Details and a better bibliography in ref. [1].

We investigate how thermalization of gluons depends on the initial conditions assumed in ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions at RHIC. The study is based on simulations employing the pQCD inspired parton cascade solving the Boltzmann equation for gluons. We consider independently produced...

A semiconductor detector coupled with a neutron converter is a good candidate for neutron detection, especially for its compactness and reliability if compared with other devices, such as 3He tubes, even though its intrinsic efficiency is rather lower. P-odd and T-odd asymmetries in the emission of fragments and light particles have been investigated in ternary fission induced by polarized neutrons.
