ABSTRACT
The article discusses digital divide, an information imbalance that affects job opportunities, income, family and general quality of life. According to Sascha Meinrath, research director for the Wireless Future program at New America Foundation, access to the Internet is part of a fundamental way of living in a civil society. It reveals the results of a survey conducted by the Pew Internet & American Life Project in May 2008.
