ABSTRACT
The article discusses the relationship of students majoring in early childhood education and their mentors. It is stated that the mentors provide these students with rich environments for classroom observation, model best classroom practices and support students' participation in curriculum planning and teaching. Both of them maintain a positive relationship with one another as it is important for the mentor to set aside time each day for the assigned student to share information about classroom plans and activities. The curriculum is designed to facilitate the students to meet their mentors during their practicum to reflect the major happenings in the classroom and plan for the future.
