ESOP could save Texas plant

The article offers information on the decision of the employees of the Flint Hills Resources LP resin plant, to form an employee stock ownership plan. They want to work with private investors to purchase and maintain the site and would meet the investors on January 15, 2009 in an attempt to prevent the 51-year-old plant from closing. Employees have said that it would cost Flint Hills Resources $100 million to take down the plant and return the land to its original condition.
